A nurse teacher has a brand new meme.
The image is titled Nurse Teaching: Nurse and the Baby, and it features a young baby holding a nurse’s hand as she talks about how her life is better than hers because she’s a nurse.
The meme, which has more than 4 million views, was created by the nurses union in an effort to get people to share their positive stories of nurse teaching.
“We have to start a conversation about the things that make our lives better and not the things we feel like we’re losing because of it,” said Joanna Latham, a nurse educator and one of the creators of the meme.
“I’m hoping this will start a dialogue about how to be a better person and be a person that is not a burden on anyone, not a hindrance to others.
We have to get our hands dirty and learn something from our nurses.”
Nurse Teaching: Nurses’ Lives Better by JoannaLatham and the Nurses Union of America has already been shared more than 3 million times, and more than 10,000 people have commented on it on the social networking site.
The new meme has since been shared over 10,600 times.
It has also been retweeted more than 11,000 times.
The nurses union says it will continue to create and share content to combat stigma and promote positive nursing experiences.
