Healthcare jobs in the US are scarce.
A shortage of qualified candidates and staffing shortages make it difficult to fill the gaps.
A new survey from telehealth staffing company NME shows that, for the third year in a row, nursing cover letter jobs in nursing homes are down by 13%.
In addition, the number of new openings for nurses increased by 10.9% in the first six months of the year compared to the same period in 2016.
“While the unemployment rate is still above 7%, there’s much more demand for nurses,” says Natalie Zuccarello, NME’s executive director of data analytics.
“So the job market is very tight.”
The survey comes on the heels of a recent study by the US Bureau of Labor Statistics that found a strong correlation between staffing shortages and nursing vacancies.
According to the survey, the nursing workforce in 2015 was down by 3.6% compared to 2016.
The US Bureau reports that the shortage of nursing jobs is due in part to a decline in the number and size of nursing homes in the country.
The study found that there were 1,724 nursing homes with 100 or fewer beds in the United States.
Of those, 1,894 were full-time, and 616 were part-time.
Of these, 932 were in rural areas.
Meanwhile, a study from the Bureau of Economic Analysis found that in 2016, the unemployment rates for full-timers were 10.5% compared with 10.3% for part-timing workers.
The authors say that this could be due to a number of factors, including the fact that many workers are working fewer hours, and that many nursing homes were built in the 1970s and 1980s when nursing was a low-paying career.
Another study from McKinsey & Co. found that nursing homes have the lowest vacancy rates among all professions.
In 2017, the vacancy rate for nursing homes was 7.3%, which is a decrease of 3.5 percentage points compared to 2015.
While there is an abundance of nursing and nursing related jobs, the shortage means that the workforce in nursing is very diverse, and there are many different nursing care styles.
There are also many different health care disciplines.
Nursing and social work, which traditionally provide health care services to the poor, are among the most popular professions in nursing.
In nursing, there are two main roles.
Medical assistants and nursing assistants perform medical care for patients.
These jobs are traditionally filled by students in community nursing programs, but many of them are now filling up by graduates.
This means that nursing is now a high-paying profession, with more graduates working in nursing than in other areas of the healthcare industry.
As of April 2017, about 8,700 nursing jobs were in the field of social work.
Currently, the US has over 16,000 nursing homes and over 1.3 million residents.
Despite the shortage, the healthcare profession remains popular.
President Donald Trump signed an executive order in January that expanded healthcare coverage to nursing homes, and several other areas.
A second order is expected to be signed in July.
